Terms and Conditions for LaminaGuard Beta Testing Program

Acceptance of Terms
By participating in the LaminaGuard Beta Testing Program ("Program") and using the LaminaGuard device ("Device"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not participate.

Program Overview
LaminaGuard is developing a non-medical spinal support device. The Program allows selected beta testers to evaluate the Device and provide feedback to improve its design and functionality.

Acknowledgment of Non-Medical Device Status
The Device is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, including but not limited to cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leaks. Participation is at your own discretion and risk.

Assumption of Responsibility
You assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages arising from the Device’s use. LaminaGuard, its creators, and affiliates are not liable for any physical, emotional, or financial harm resulting from your participation.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.

  • Experience with CSF leaks or similar spinal support needs is preferred but not mandatory.

  • You agree to provide honest feedback via surveys or interviews as requested.

Use of the Device

  • The Device is provided "as is" for testing purposes only.

  • Do not use it as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Report any issues or adverse effects to LaminaGuard immediately.

Data Collection and Privacy
Your personal information (e.g., name, email) will be collected for Program coordination. See our Privacy Policy at https://www.laminaguard.com/privacy-policy for details on data protection.

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
You agree to keep all details, features, and specifications of the Device confidential. You shall not disclose, share, or distribute any information about its design, materials, or functionality to any third party, including online forums, social media, or manufacturers, without prior written consent from LaminaGuard. This obligation survives the Program’s end.

Prohibition on Replication
You are expressly prohibited from replicating, copying, reverse-engineering, or attempting to recreate the Device’s design, structure, or any part thereof in any way, shape, or form. Any such action violates these Terms and may result in legal action.

Feedback and Intellectual Property
Any feedback you provide becomes LaminaGuard’s property for product development. You retain no rights to such feedback.

Termination
LaminaGuard may terminate your participation at any time for non-compliance with these Terms or safety concerns.

Limitation of Liability
LaminaGuard is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the Device or Program, including personal injury or property damage.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas.
